Jennifer Gosetti-Ferencei is Professor of Philosophy and Director of Graduate Studies in Philosophy at Fordham University in New York. Her research interests include Continental Philosophy, Aesthetics, and the Philosophy of Literature.  She studied at Oxford University (DPhil, Modern Languages and Literatures-German, MSt, European Literature), Columbia University (MFA, poetry), and Villanova University (PhD, MA, Philosophy).  Her books include Exotic Spaces in German Modernism (Oxford University Press); The Ecstatic Quotidian: Phenomenological Sightings in Modern Art and Literature (Pennsylvania State University Press); and Heidegger, Hölderlin, and the Subject of Poetic Language (Fordham University Press).  She has also published a book of poetry, After the Palace Burns, which won the Paris Review Prize.
